The studio

A small team that ships

GJAHS Games is an independent studio working across design, engineering and art under one roof. We keep the team small on purpose — it means fewer meetings, faster builds, and a game that still feels like someone made it.

We self-publish everything we make, support our titles long after launch, and treat player feedback as part of the roadmap rather than an afterthought.

Small games, finished well

We would rather ship one mechanic that feels perfect than five that feel almost right. Every build gets played on real devices before it leaves the studio.

Designed for one thumb

Portrait first, offline friendly, and readable in sunlight. Our games are made for a bus seat and a queue, not a desk.

Fair by default

No dark patterns, no pressure timers, no paywalls in front of the fun. Ads and purchases stay optional and clearly labelled.

Privacy taken seriously

We collect the minimum needed to run and improve our games, we never sell your data, and we write our policy in plain language.

How we work

From idea to store listing

A deliberately short pipeline, so an idea can go from sketch to something you can actually hold.

  1. 01

    Prototype in a week

Every idea gets a rough, playable build fast. If the core loop is not fun without art or sound, it does not move forward.

  2. 02

    Playtest with real players

We hand builds to people outside the studio early and watch where they hesitate, not just where they score.

  3. 03

    Polish until it feels obvious

Tuning, haptics, load times and readability. The last ten percent is where a casual game earns its second session.

  4. 04

    Ship, listen, keep going

Launch is the start. We read reviews, patch quickly and keep adding content while people are still playing.
